NFT multiplayer builder game My Neighbor Alice has closed out its latest NFT sale. The January 10 “Holidays in Snowflake Island” NFT sale issued a total 49,500 NFTs with a unit sale price of 0.025 BNB. Demand was impressive, with 5,492 total participants.

The new Winter Holidays sale ushered in a change in buying format. It was the first My Neighbor Alice event that used Binance’s new NFT Subscription Mechanism, which is a new approach that ensures a fair and equal way for BNB holders to commit tokens towards a Binance NFT sale. Each user has a subscription cap, and the final NFT allocation is distributed in a fair manner, providing all users with an equal opportunity to participate in the primary sales.

Compared to the old model used by My Neighbor Alice, the NFT Subscription Method makes the NFT sales a lot more accessible. Previously, all of the available NFTs were sold in a matter of seconds. Users can now sign up for events in advance while pledging to buy a desired number of mystery boxes, and they are selected by a lottery algorithm.

The company has announced that it is working on bringing new NFT creations to the virtual world this spring.

What is MNA?

My Neighbor Alice, or MNA, is a multiplayer NFT builder game that enables players to buy and own virtual islands while collecting and building items. Players can also interact with neighbors and perform daily activities to earn rewards.

Developed by Antler Interactive and inspired by games like Animal Crossing, My Neighbor Alice was made in collaboration with ChromaWay using the Chromia Blockchain ecosystem. Anyone can become part of the MNA world by buying a piece of land and participating in activities like farming, fishing, and beekeeping.

Players’ lands are customizable through different in-game NFT items, such as plants, flowers, trees, animals, and buildings. Players can then trade their land and in-game items in the virtual in-game marketplace.

$ALICE Token

The native currency in the game is the ALICE token, which players can also stake in the game to earn rewards and governance rights. ALICE can also be used in the marketplace to purchase assets and special skill sets, and the token can be earned by completing quests in the game.

Back on March 15, 2021, the ALICE token reached an all-time high of $40.93. At the time of this article, the price is at $10.54.
