Forvis Mazars Advisory Arm Adopts Intapp’s Celeste AI for Deal Work

Intapp announced on September 22, 2026 that Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors, the corporate finance advisory service line of Forvis Mazars, has selected Intapp DealCloud with Celeste for its deal workflows. Intapp said Celeste’s agentic capabilities will automate core deal workflows, surface insights from integrated data sources, and free the corporate finance team to focus on clients rather than routine tasks. The announcement disclosed no financial terms, contract value, or deployment timeline.
Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors is the corporate finance advisory service line of Forvis Mazars, which the announcement describes as one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the United States. According to Intapp, the corporate finance team set out to reduce the manual, time-consuming work that slows deal execution, naming the building of buyer lists, the tracking of deal milestones, and the management of outreach at scale. The selection forms part of a firmwide initiative to embed agentic AI across the firm’s platforms, and Intapp said the team chose DealCloud with Celeste for purpose-built playbooks that horizontal AI providers could not deliver.
Intapp positions DealCloud as the single system of record for relationships, deal pipeline, and market intelligence at the firm, which the announcement describes as a structured foundation on which AI can deliver real value. By applying agentic AI to the specific workflows that define investment banking and corporate finance practice, the company said, Celeste enables professionals to automate tasks that have traditionally consumed hours of their time.
Jason Corson, Managing Director at Forvis Mazars Capital Advisors, said: “Our team handles complex, data-intensive deal processes, and the ability to streamline buyer list creation, outreach, and milestone tracking within the platform we already rely on is a meaningful step forward. Implementing Celeste supports our firmwide initiative to utilize agentic AI that understands our business — not a generic tool we have to work around.”
Tom Koehler, Global Managing Principal of Accounting and Consulting Industries at Intapp, said: “For years, AI sat beside the work as a tool that a professional opened — separate from the deal and from the data the firm trusts. An agent is different. It acts on the work, so it has to be native to the workflow and connected to the sources the firm already relies on. That’s the shift Forvis Mazars is making: from AI that makes a professional faster, to AI built into how the business of the firm actually runs.”
The DealCloud Platform
Intapp describes DealCloud as an AI-powered deal and relationship intelligence platform for professional firms, built for regulated markets. Its investment-banking modules cover coverage and relationship management, origination and business development, deal pitching and execution, and performance analytics and strategy. According to the product documentation, DealCloud automatically enriches records through Intapp Data, which provides proprietary firmographic data on more than 14 million companies and 200 million contacts, and through integrated third-party market intelligence from providers including Preqin, PitchBook, and FactSet. Intapp also cites a case study in which FMI Capital Advisors reported 8+ hours saved per week on transaction bidder list preparation.
Celeste’s Launch and Governance Model
Intapp launched Celeste on February 25, 2026, at its annual product event in New York City as a purpose-built agentic AI platform for professional firms. At the launch, Chief Product Officer Thad Jampol described Celeste as Firm AI built to automate and orchestrate the core processes that define a firm’s success while aligning with strict professional compliance standards. The launch release said Celeste’s agents interact with humans and other agents, draw on a firm’s data, terminology, relationships, and work patterns through the Celeste Context Engine, and execute using firm-specific methodology and best practices. Celeste launched with connections to Harvey, Microsoft Copilot, and Anthropic’s Claude, and Intapp said it was re-architecting its full product portfolio, including DealCloud, Intapp Compliance, and Intapp Time, with agentic AI workflows at the core.
According to Intapp’s Celeste product page, the platform is grounded in client, deal, relationship, and engagement data drawn from a firm’s Intapp products. It enforces firm access policies, ethical walls, and need-to-know rules, and it requires human approval for sensitive actions; the February launch release adds that the governed AI framework applies compliance standards covering ethical walls, MNPI, and independence to agent actions. Intapp states that Celeste produces a meeting-ready client brief in about 10 seconds, delivers 40–60% faster staffing decisions, and supports more than 100 industry-specific use cases. The product page lists certifications including ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, and 27701, CSA STAR, and Global PRP, describes the platform as CREST-approved, and names client references including Alvarez & Marsal, Hg, Starwood Capital Group, and BakerHostetler.
