Snowflake Overhauls Partner Network With Over $120 Million Invested

Snowflake on September 9, 2026 announced what it described as the most comprehensive update to the Snowflake Partner Network in years, stating in a company blog post that it deployed over $120 million to its partner ecosystem in fiscal 2026 and that this figure has more than doubled since fiscal 2024.
The post was written by Amy Kodl, Snowflake’s senior vice president of worldwide alliances and channels. New program benefits and requirements take effect November 2, 2026, and the full set of enhancements is available to partners in the Snowflake Partner Network portal.
Kodl described the current moment as the era of the agentic enterprise, in which AI moves beyond answering questions to actively executing workflows, triggering decisions and operating autonomously across systems. She wrote that no single company can build every model, every vertical application or every industry-specific workflow, and that the agentic enterprise will be built by a partner ecosystem. She framed the program changes as a mutual bet: Snowflake is investing more capital, comarketing and sales support while requiring partners to meet a higher bar, including the adoption of Snowflake CoCo, Snowflake CoWork and Snowflake Cortex AI. The enhancements, she wrote, focus on three things partners need: the ability to build differentiated solutions, the tools to go to market effectively and the structure to scale.
Build Resources and New Requirements
Snowflake is standardizing the use of Snowflake CoCo for Data Cloud Services partners, backed by a new CoCo Foundational Accreditation that the company said gives partner teams access to practical expertise. It also expanded demo and development credits for Services partners by up to five times and extended credit expiration from monthly to annually, a change it said gives partners flexibility to build, test and prove value on their own timeline. The company said the expanded resources are intended to help accelerate delivery times, boost conversion rates and shorten evaluation windows.
Elite Data Cloud Product partners are required to embed Cortex AI capabilities and complete Ready Tech Validation, supported by an optional Build Foundational Course recommended for team skill development.
On go-to-market, Snowflake said it is strengthening its comarketing infrastructure to support partners at every stage of the lifecycle, from initial launch to go-to-market execution. Tiered partners will be eligible for Snowflake Partner Awards and a high-visibility presence at major Snowflake events, and they can publish cobranded content such as customer case studies, blogs and social posts.
On structure, Snowflake evolved its global tier framework to feature regional zones. The company said the update creates a level playing field, allowing international partners to unlock top program benefits using metrics tailored to their specific regions.
Partner Results and Prior Strategy
The announcement cited results from two partners. Elite Services partner CitiusTech used Snowflake CoCo to accelerate an enterprise migration for a major health insurance company. CitiusTech chief executive Dhaval Shah said CoCo cut job refactoring time from three to five days to two to four hours, shrinking the overall timeline from 7.5 months to 2.5 months.
John Messina, head of revenue at Hex, said: “Over 30 customer accounts adopted Cortex AI Functions within the first two weeks, pacing us toward a seven-figure consumption boost.” A footnote in the post states that individual results will vary based on data complexity, environment, and use case.
The update extends a strategy shift Snowflake described in a May 5, 2026 blog post about a roundtable discussion between Kodl and Snowflake board member Teresa Briggs, in which the company said it is moving from “partners around the business” to “partners inside the strategy.” Briggs is a former Deloitte vice chair with over 30 years of leadership experience, and the earlier post framed partnerships as a scaling mechanism rather than simply a channel. It said chief executive Sridhar Ramaswamy has reinforced an ecosystem-first posture and identified three opportunities Snowflake sees for partners in the AI era: data intelligence workflows, AI-native transformation and product-led investment built on repeatable, productized assets.
Snowflake will host live webinars on the program updates on September 16, 2026 for APJ and on September 17, 2026 for AMS and EMEA. The company said new benefits and requirements take effect November 2, 2026.
