Vision (VSN ) is the unified token at the centre of Bitpanda Web3. It replaced the legacy Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST) and Pantos (PAN), combining loyalty, staking, governance, payments, and cross-chain ambitions under one asset. This article covers VSN—not the retired BEST token—and separates what is available today from products that remain under development.

Vision (VSN) at a Glance

  • Token: Vision (VSN)
  • Launched: July 16, 2025
  • Role: Utility, staking, and governance token for the Bitpanda Web3 ecosystem
  • Launch supply: 4.2 billion VSN
  • Legacy assets: BEST and PAN were merged into VSN
  • Network design: An ERC-20 token intended to operate across Ethereum (ETH ) -compatible environments

What Is Vision?

Vision is the token layer for Bitpanda’s expanding Web3 product suite. Bitpanda launched VSN to replace two older assets that served separate purposes: BEST primarily powered exchange loyalty benefits, while PAN was associated with blockchain interoperability. The consolidation gives the company one token for its wallet, protocol, future chain, launchpad, and loyalty programme.

This distinction matters for investors. VSN is not simply BEST with a new ticker. It has a different supply, conversion schedule, staking model, and governance framework. It is also exposed to a broader execution plan whose success depends on adoption beyond Bitpanda’s centralised brokerage business.

BEST and PAN Were Replaced by VSN

VSN officially began trading on July 16, 2025. Bitpanda stopped BEST and PAN trading that day and fixed the conversion rates at 1 BEST to 4.91 VSN and 1 PAN to 0.89 VSN. According to Bitpanda’s migration documentation, BEST and PAN balances left on its platform were scheduled for automatic conversion on July 16, 2026.

Anyone encountering BEST or PAN on an external wallet or an unsupported venue should not assume that it remains liquid or convertible. Confirm the current migration status with Bitpanda and verify contract addresses through official sources before taking any action. Unsolicited migration links are a common phishing method.

How the Bitpanda Web3 Ecosystem Works

Bitpanda describes five connected products, but they are not all at the same stage of deployment.

Vision Wallet

The Vision Wallet is a non-custodial wallet designed to simplify swaps, earning products, and access to decentralized applications (DApps). The wallet and VSN are available, while individual features and availability can vary by jurisdiction.

Vision Protocol

Vision Protocol is the successor to Pantos. It is designed to aggregate decentralized exchanges and bridges so users and developers can route assets across chains from one interface. Its investment relevance is straightforward: meaningful protocol usage could create demand for VSN, while weak adoption would leave much of the token’s value proposition tied to Bitpanda’s existing customer base.

Vision Chain and Launchpad

Bitpanda presents Vision Chain as an Ethereum Layer 2 aimed at regulated tokenized assets, institutions, and compliant on-chain finance. The Bitpanda Launchpad is intended to provide curated token launches. These are important parts of the thesis, but investors should verify which functions are live rather than valuing announced products as completed infrastructure.

What Is VSN Used For?

VSN’s planned and current uses include:

  • Staking: Token holders can stake VSN for variable rewards. Learn how crypto staking works before comparing an advertised yield with the dilution and market risks.
  • Governance: The framework is designed to let token holders vote on matters such as emissions, reward pools, burns, and protocol upgrades.
  • Fees and payments: Bitpanda markets VSN as a way to pay eligible fees across its Web3 products.
  • Loyalty benefits: Eligible users may receive trading-fee discounts, rewards, and access benefits under separate Bitpanda programme terms.
  • Ecosystem incentives: VSN may fund developer grants, user rewards, liquidity, and other growth programmes.

It is important to distinguish token utility from programme benefits. Bitpanda states that loyalty benefits are governed by the relevant product terms and are not immutable rights embedded in VSN itself.

VSN Tokenomics

VSN launched with a total supply of 4.2 billion tokens. The design combines emissions with possible buybacks and burns. Staking rewards can increase supply, while governance and the Vision Web3 Foundation can direct some ecosystem revenue toward market purchases, burns, liquidity, or incentives.

The official white paper describes a target annual emission rate for the initial staking phase, subject to governance changes, and does not impose a hard maximum supply. That makes net supply growth more useful than a single headline figure. Investors should monitor new issuance, the percentage staked, burn transactions, treasury holdings, and the source of staking rewards.

VSN relies on smart contracts, which add operational and technical risk. Audits reduce risk but cannot eliminate bugs, governance mistakes, compromised keys, or failures in connected bridges and protocols.

Why Investors Consider VSN

The strongest argument for VSN is distribution. Bitpanda already operates a large European digital-asset platform, giving the token a potential user base for wallet, loyalty, and payment features. Combining BEST and PAN also removes the fragmented incentives of two legacy tokens.

VSN may benefit if the Vision Wallet and Protocol gain sustained activity, the Layer 2 attracts issuers and developers, and token holders receive genuine governance responsibilities. A transparent link between product revenue and token buybacks, burns, or rewards could further strengthen the model.

Material Risks

  • Execution risk: Vision’s valuation can move ahead of products that are incomplete or have limited real-world use.
  • Platform concentration: Much of the initial utility depends on Bitpanda and its commercial decisions.
  • Dilution: Staking emissions can increase supply, and VSN has no fixed maximum supply under the published model.
  • Governance concentration: Large holders, the foundation, or affiliated entities may exert outsized influence.
  • Regulatory risk: Loyalty, staking, exchange, and tokenized-asset products operate under changing rules across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Technical risk: Wallets, bridges, Layer 2 systems, and smart contracts can be exploited or fail.
  • Liquidity risk: VSN may have less market depth and broader exchange access than large-cap crypto assets.

What to Monitor

Investors should follow active Vision Wallet users, swap and protocol volume, Vision Chain mainnet progress, developer adoption, circulating supply, staking participation, governance activity, and verified buyback or burn transactions. Product usage is more informative than promotional partnership counts.

Vision (VSN) — Final Thoughts

Vision is a more ambitious project than the BEST token it replaces. It combines an existing distribution channel with a wallet, interoperability protocol, governance system, and planned Layer 2. The opportunity is meaningful if those products attract durable use, but the same breadth creates execution, concentration, and dilution risks. Treat VSN as a developing ecosystem token and judge it by shipped functionality, transparent token flows, and measurable adoption—not by the legacy success of BEST alone.
