AWE Network (AWE ) is a crypto-and-AI infrastructure project focused on autonomous agents, persistent virtual worlds, and agent-driven applications. It is the successor to STP Network, and its AWE token replaced STPT through a 1:1 migration. The earlier tokenization-focused description of STPT no longer reflects what the project builds today.

AWE Network at a Glance

  • Project: AWE Network, formerly STP Network
  • Token: AWE, formerly STPT
  • Network: Base
  • Total supply: Approximately 1.94 billion AWE, unchanged by the rebrand
  • Primary focus: Infrastructure and applications for AI agents and autonomous worlds
  • Migration: 1 STPT to 1 AWE

Important: STPT Is Being Retired

STP Network rebranded to AWE Network in 2025 and migrated STPT on Ethereum (ETH ) to AWE on Base at a 1:1 ratio. The team says roughly 99% of the eligible supply has migrated. Its official notice sets September 21, 2026 as the final migration deadline; after that date, remaining STPT will no longer be eligible for conversion.

Legacy STPT holders should use only the official migration portal linked from AWE Network’s website or documentation. Never send tokens to a contract address copied from an unsolicited message. Exchange-held STPT may have followed venue-specific procedures, so holders should also verify the status directly with their exchange.

What Is AWE Network?

AWE Network describes its Autonomous Worlds Engine as a modular framework for environments in which large numbers of AI agents can interact with one another and with people. Its architecture emphasizes parallel execution, dependency management, and workloads that may use GPU acceleration.

The project has changed direction substantially. STP originally concentrated on tokenization standards and later built DAO tooling. AWE retains an on-chain coordination theme but applies it to AI agents, simulations, autonomous worlds, and agent-directed economic activity. Investors should therefore evaluate current products and users rather than relying on STP’s older enterprise-tokenization narrative.

How AWE Network Works

AWE’s framework organizes activity around agents, events, and persistent worlds. In principle, many agents can execute tasks in parallel while a dependency system determines which actions must wait for earlier results. On-chain components can record ownership, payments, governance decisions, or other verifiable state.

This is not a conventional general-purpose blockchain. AWE is better understood as a collection of software, smart contracts, and applications deployed around the Base ecosystem. Base provides the settlement environment for the AWE token and on-chain activity, while AWE’s off-chain and agent infrastructure handles more computationally intensive tasks.

World.fun and Autonomous Worlds

World.fun has served as an application layer for launching and funding agent-driven worlds. It provides a visible test of whether the autonomous-world concept can attract creators, users, and repeat economic activity.

Agent Tools and Market Experiments

AWE has released agent tooling, marketplaces, and experimental workflows. In 2026, the project also moved into agent-assisted prediction-market strategies through Polyvaults. These products demonstrate active development, but investors should distinguish prototypes, beta systems, and promotional campaigns from durable fee-generating use.

What Is the AWE Token Used For?

AWE is positioned as the governance and utility token for the ecosystem. Published uses include:

  • Participating in governance and funding decisions.
  • Paying for or coordinating activity in autonomous worlds and agent applications.
  • Tipping agents and supporting inference or other real-time interactions.
  • Providing incentives for creators, developers, agents, and users.
  • Settling certain on-chain actions on Base.

The AWE token is implemented through smart contracts on Base. The official contract should always be verified through AWE Network’s current contract documentation before an on-chain purchase or transfer.

AWE Tokenomics

The STPT-to-AWE migration did not create additional supply: approximately 1.94 billion STPT became eligible for conversion into the same number of AWE tokens. The 1:1 ratio preserves unit balances, although it does not guarantee liquidity, market value, or continued exchange support.

Token investors should track circulating supply rather than relying only on the nominal total. Treasury balances, ecosystem incentives, liquidity programmes, unclaimed migration allocations, and governance decisions can all affect tradable supply. AWE Network says any tokens left unclaimed after the September 2026 deadline will be addressed through a community governance proposal.

Why Investors Consider AWE

AWE sits at the intersection of two active development areas: on-chain applications and AI agents. Its migration to Base gives it access to a low-cost Ethereum Layer 2 ecosystem, while the project’s history provides an existing community, exchange relationships, and a token supply that did not inflate during the rebrand.

The strongest investment case would be supported by repeat users, verifiable agent activity, developer adoption, sustainable fees, and token demand tied to real products. Experiments such as World.fun, agent marketplaces, and Polyvaults provide potential distribution channels, but they still need to prove retention and economic durability.

Material Risks

  • Strategic-pivot risk: The move from tokenization and DAO infrastructure to AI agents is substantial. Earlier adoption may not transfer to the new products.
  • Product-market-fit risk: Autonomous worlds remain an experimental category with uncertain demand.
  • Migration risk: Holders of legacy STPT face a hard conversion deadline and phishing risk.
  • Token-value-capture risk: Product success does not automatically create proportional demand for AWE.
  • AI and model dependence: Agent systems may rely on third-party models, infrastructure, and data sources outside AWE’s control.
  • Smart-contract risk: Contracts, bridges, vaults, and connected DApps can contain exploitable flaws.
  • Liquidity and governance concentration: Large holders or thin markets can amplify volatility and influence.

What to Monitor

Useful indicators include active wallets, agent and world activity, fee revenue, repeat users, open-source development, Base transaction volume attributable to AWE products, token-holder concentration, treasury movements, and governance participation. Investors should also watch the September 21, 2026 migration deadline and the subsequent treatment of unclaimed AWE.

How to Buy AWE Network (AWE)

AWE is listed on several centralised exchanges and can also trade on Base-based decentralised venues. Availability varies by jurisdiction. Confirm that the asset is AWE on Base and verify the official contract before making an on-chain trade.

Binance – A large global exchange. It is unavailable in some jurisdictions, and residents should confirm local eligibility.

KuCoin – Offers a broad selection of digital assets. Regional restrictions apply.

Gate.io – Provides access to many crypto assets. Availability depends on jurisdiction.

AWE Network — Final Thoughts

AWE Network should be judged as an AI-agent infrastructure project, not as the tokenization protocol described by its legacy STPT branding. The team is shipping applications and experiments on Base, and the unchanged 1:1 token migration simplifies supply continuity. The key question is whether those products generate sustained activity and clear demand for AWE. Until that is demonstrated, the project carries the high execution, liquidity, and narrative risks typical of emerging crypto-and-AI assets.
