FactSet Extends Research Platform Across Scotia Wealth Management

FactSet on October 8, 2026, announced an expansion of its partnership with Scotia Wealth Management, part of the Scotiabank group of companies, under which advisors, investment professionals, and support team members across Scotia Wealth Management will have access to FactSet’s unified research and intelligence platform.
The expansion will further integrate FactSet’s capabilities into Scotia Wealth Management’s advisor and investment platforms. The unified platform brings together investment research, market data, portfolio analysis, watchlists, and other resources in one place. FactSet said the integration supports Scotia Wealth Management’s commitment to enhancing the advisor experience and helping teams deliver greater value for clients.
“We’re continually evolving our advisor platform to better support the needs of advisors and clients,” said Todd Barnes, Executive Vice President, Canadian Wealth Management Investment Advisory at Scotia Wealth Management. He described the FactSet partnership as an important part of that evolution, introducing capabilities that position the firm to deliver more value across its business over time.
Goran Skoko, Chief Revenue Officer at FactSet, said Scotia Wealth Management “sets a high bar for how technology can enable advisors,” adding that the expansion reflects a partnership built on trust, performance, and a shared belief that advisors deserve the best tools available. FactSet characterized the initiative as underscoring its growing momentum as a platform of choice for wealth management firms.
Platform Components
On its wealth management solutions page, FactSet describes the offering as a modular, open-architecture platform that unifies research, advisor workflows, prospecting, proposals, and client experiences. According to the company’s product documentation, the FactSet Workstation provides multi-asset market data and analytics across equities, fixed income, alternatives, mutual funds, ETFs, and private companies, and its portfolio analytics cover portfolio measurement, attribution, and risk reporting.
According to FactSet, the advisor dashboard lets advisors group portfolios by client, household, model, or custom attributes; draw on pre-built model portfolios from asset managers; receive contextualized alerts on accounts and market-moving news that can be sorted by assets under management and client impact; and surface client-ready talking points, meeting preparation, and book-of-business insights. Firms can connect FactSet content into their existing systems through APIs, a widget library, data feeds, and CRM integration rather than replacing their current stack, the company says. FactSet states that 120,000 wealth professionals rely on its platform.
Earlier 2026 Wealth Management Partnerships
The Scotia Wealth Management expansion follows earlier FactSet wealth-management announcements in 2026. On June 29, 2026, FactSet announced a partnership with TIFIN.AI to deliver AI-powered workflows for wealth management firms, accompanied by a strategic investment in TIFIN.AI. The initial solutions under that partnership are a Meeting Prep Agent, which generates client-ready summaries, action items, portfolio insights, and personalized talking points, and a Book Intelligence Agent, which surfaces actionable insights across an advisor’s book of business to help identify portfolio opportunities and prioritize outreach. FactSet said TIFIN.AI’s engine will operate entirely within FactSet’s infrastructure, keeping client portfolio data inside FactSet’s environment, and that the solution’s auditable workflows provide firms traceability into generated insights. Kristina Karnovsky, Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Product at FactSet, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to helping wealth management firms modernize advisor workflows through practical, enterprise-grade AI solutions.
On October 6, 2026, SUBSCRIBE announced a strategic partnership that integrates its private markets workflow and data solution into FactSet’s platform for institutional investors and wealth managers. According to SUBSCRIBE, the integration gives FactSet’s clients investor onboarding to private funds, digitalized fund subscriptions, and centralized post-trade investment reporting, allowing investors to manage, analyze, and monitor private and public investments side by side within a single platform. Greg King, Senior Director and Head of Advisor & Client Intelligence at FactSet, said the partnership streamlines and synthesizes data for greater visibility into private market portfolios. SUBSCRIBE said it supports more than $6 trillion in private market assets for institutional investors and alternative asset managers, and more than 55,000 financial advisors across 800 wealth management firms.
