The declaration raises the quarterly rate from $0.64 per share, the amount of each of the four most recent quarterly payments. The board first declared the $0.64 rate on Oct. 31, 2025, itself an increase of $0.04 per share, with that dividend payable Dec. 1, 2025 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 13, 2025. The board declared the same $0.64 per share on Apr. 6, 2026, payable June 1, 2026 to shareholders of record as of May 1, 2026, and again on Jul. 31, 2026, payable Sept. 1, 2026 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 13, 2026.

Recent Results and Reporting Schedule
The board’s action follows Entergy’s second-quarter 2026 report, issued July 29, 2026, in which the company reported earnings of $483 million, or $1.03 per share, on an as-reported and an adjusted (non-GAAP) basis, compared with earnings of $468 million, or $1.05 per share, in the second quarter of 2025.
Entergy’s Utility business reported second-quarter earnings attributable to Entergy Corporation of $626 million, or $1.34 per share, compared with $599 million, or $1.34 per share, a year earlier. The company said the quarter’s earnings increase was driven primarily by the net effect of regulatory actions across several operating companies, return on construction work in progress for certain utility plant investments, higher retail sales volume, and higher other income (deductions), partially offset by higher interest expense, higher O&M, and higher depreciation and amortization.
The Parent & Other segment reported a second-quarter loss attributable to Entergy Corporation of $143 million, or 31 cents per share, compared with a loss of $131 million, or 29 cents per share, in the prior-year quarter. The company attributed the quarter-over-quarter change primarily to higher interest expense.
In the same release, Entergy affirmed its 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance range of $4.25 to $4.45. “We remain solidly on track to achieve our objectives for 2026 and beyond,” Entergy Chair and Chief Executive Officer Drew Marsh said in the report.
Among the quarter’s business highlights, Entergy Corporation completed a $2.175 billion common stock offering with a forward component. The company said per-share results reflected a higher diluted average number of common shares outstanding, primarily due to the settlement of equity forwards in 2025 and 2026 and the dilutive effect of an increase in the stock price on unsettled equity forwards.
Other business highlights in the report included approval by the APSC of Entergy Arkansas’s Generating Arkansas Jobs Act rider rate update, approval by the PUCT of Entergy Texas’s DCRF rate update, and annual formula rate plan filings by Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Louisiana. Entergy Arkansas filed its 2025 historical year formula rate plan netting adjustment, and Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans each filed for an extension of their formula rate plans. Entergy Texas was also awarded an approximately $200 million Texas Energy Fund grant for electric reliability, which the company said will strengthen the grid at no cost to customers.
Entergy will report its third-quarter 2026 financial results before the market opens on Nov. 2, 2026, according to an Oct. 26, 2026 announcement. Marsh and Kimberly Fontan, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a live webcast discussion of the company’s quarterly business update and financial results at 10 a.m. Central time that day, accessible through Entergy’s investor-relations website or by dialing 888-440-4149 with conference ID 9024832. Presentation materials will be available on Entergy’s website before the market opens on the day of the call, and an archived replay of the webcast will be available on the investor-relations website afterward.
