Cars24 Brings Alba Cars Operations Into Its Global Group

Cars24 and Alba Cars announced on November 3, 2026 that Alba Cars’ operating businesses have joined the wider Cars24 global group, combining UAE used-vehicle retail operations that sell more than 1,000 vehicles a month.
No purchase price or other transaction economics were disclosed. The announcement’s operating logic is complementary: Cars24 contributes its automotive technology platform, financing capabilities and infrastructure, while Alba Cars brings premium retail operations, established customer relationships, digital-marketing expertise and a recognized UAE brand.
Both businesses were founded in 2015, but they bring different geographic and operating profiles. Alba Cars reports a team of more than 200 professionals, approximately 300 monthly vehicle sales and inventory spanning more than 20 automotive brands. The Dubai-founded retailer has focused on premium used vehicles, digital marketing and a personalized buying experience. Cars24 operates across India, the UAE and Australia, supported by investment in technology, vehicle financing, refurbishment and automotive infrastructure.
That background explains what the combination is intended to add beyond retail volume. The businesses plan to pair the convenience of digital automotive services with Alba Cars’ personal customer experience and physical-retail expertise. The resulting operation spans more of the vehicle-ownership cycle, with Cars24’s activities covering buying, selling, financing and ownership services alongside refurbishment.
Integration Preserves the Alba Cars Brand
Alba Cars will continue operating under its established brand and retain its existing team and leadership. Selected support operations and infrastructure will be progressively integrated with Cars24, so the operational combination will proceed behind a customer-facing brand that remains intact.
The companies expect customers to see greater vehicle choice, improved financing options, enhanced aftersales capabilities and a more seamless experience across buying, selling and owning a vehicle. Those planned changes connect Cars24’s financing and technology operations with Alba Cars’ retail base. The announcement provides no rollout timetable for the customer-facing changes.
Investment will focus on expanding automotive retail operations, strengthening digital capabilities and adding infrastructure to support continued growth in the UAE. The businesses also have ambitions to expand further across the region and build a leading automotive platform over the long term.
Cars24 Arabia CEO Abhinav Gupta tied the transaction to that regional ambition: “We share a strong vision for the future and see this as an important step towards our ambition of building one of the largest automotive businesses in the region.”
The immediate result is scale without an Alba Cars rebrand: Cars24 adds an established premium retailer to its international operations, while Alba Cars gains access to a broader technology, financing and infrastructure platform. The central execution question is whether progressive integration can deliver the planned improvements in choice, financing and aftersales service while maintaining the local customer relationships and retail expertise that underpin the combination.
