Coinbase is an online merchant specializing in blockchain based assets.  Their industry leading platform not only offers the ability to buy, sell and trade, but provides clients with educational tools.

Coinbase has managed to continually grow through the expansion of services.  One standout service that has gained traction among industry players is Coinbase Custody.  Often noted as an industry need, custodial services are in demand.  Coinbase continues to serve this need by holding over $1 billion in assets, spread over 20 supports cryptocurrencies.

Operations are based out of San Francisco, where CEO, Brian Armstrong, oversees operations.  While based in the United States, Coinbase has a global presence, offering their services to over 30 countries and growing.
