AutoStore Agrees to Acquire Logiqs for Up to EUR 30 Million

AutoStore announced on November 5, 2026 that it had agreed to acquire Logiqs, a Netherlands-based provider of roaming pallet automated storage and retrieval systems, for a purchase price of up to EUR 30 million. The agreement would add pallet-handling robotics to AutoStore’s fulfillment platform, with closing expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The purchase price will be funded from existing cash reserves, and AutoStore expects no material impact on its financial results. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions. The disclosed amount is a maximum rather than a fixed payment, and the agreement is not yet a completed acquisition.
“This acquisition is another step in our journey towards building an autonomous, intelligent fulfilment platform. In Logiqs, we have identified a core technology that, over time, will bring roaming pallet AS/RS into the AutoStore platform, helping us address a broader set of needs for both new and existing customers,” said Mats Hovland Vikse, CEO of AutoStore.
Logiqs Brings Pallet Automation Expertise
Logiqs develops roaming robots for the automated storage and retrieval of palletized goods. Its warehouse technology is deployed at approximately 30 customer sites across multiple geographies and end markets. AutoStore credits the technology with helping customers improve storage density, throughput and operational efficiency.
Logiqs’ 60 employees will bring complementary automation, software and product capabilities to AutoStore. Parth Joshi, AutoStore’s chief product officer and president of its Product Business Unit, described roaming pallet systems as a new product and technology area for the company.
AutoStore will further develop the technology in preparation for an expanded commercial release and provide additional information over time. No release date was disclosed, leaving product development and integration as the next disclosed steps rather than a scheduled market launch.
Revenue Growth Outpaces Operating Profit
The acquisition announcement came on the same day as AutoStore’s third-quarter 2026 results. AutoStore reported revenue of USD 192.1 million, up 38.2% from USD 139.0 million a year earlier, while EBIT increased 11.2% to USD 54.1 million from USD 48.6 million. Sales therefore grew considerably faster than operating profit, while gross margin narrowed to 71.3% from 73.1%.
Order intake rose 16.5% to USD 177.6 million from USD 152.4 million. Vikse described the total as AutoStore’s highest-ever third-quarter order intake. Citing a healthy backlog and increased visibility for the remainder of the year, AutoStore raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to around USD 750 million from around USD 700 million issued with its second-quarter results.
Those results provide the financial backdrop for a cash-funded acquisition that AutoStore expects to be immaterial to its financial results. The larger significance is in product scope: Logiqs would bring an installed pallet-automation base and specialist employees, but the planned platform addition still depends on closing the transaction, further development and an eventual expanded commercial release.
