‘By the community. For the community’ – This catchphrase is used by Spartan Protocol to describe itself. Through use of DeFi, Spartan Protocol wears many hats, offering the following capabilities.

  • Liquidity Pools
  • Synthetic Token Generation
  • Lending
  • Asset Swaps

With Spartan Protocol, tokens known as ‘SPARTA’ are used ‘as the common settlement asset in all pools’.  These tokens are also used as both base assets, and when posting collateral.  This structuring also removes Spartan Protocols reliance on external oracles for price discovery.

SPARTA tokens have a maximum supply of 300 million.  Of these, 100 million were distributed to initial supporters of the protocol in a ‘proof-of-burn’ event.  The remainder are allocated for future emissions throughout the coming decade.

Spartan Protocol notes that its services are built atop Binance Smart Chain due to the networks ability to offer low fees and fast settlements simultaneously.  Spartan Protocol also indicates that it drew inspiration for the project from others like Uniswap, THORChain, Synthetix, MakerDAO, and more.

By operating as a DAO, Spartan Protocol has no treasury, or official team responsible for its services.

We list the top 3 exchanges that offer the ability to buy Spartan Protocol (SPARTA) cryptocurrency with a credit card, debit card, or Bitcoin (BTC).

Binance

Binance is one of the largest and most well-known cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. The benefits of purchasing Spartan Protocol (SPARTA) here are both lower fees than competing exchanges, and increased liquidity enabling you to buy and sell quickly to take advantage of market moving news.

This exchange is best for investors residing in Australia, Canada, Singapore, UK & internationally.  USA residents are prohibited from purchasing Spartan Protocol (SPARTA).

PancakeSwap

PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange designed to swap tokens on the Binance Smart Chain. This is one of the more popular DEX models since it is backed by Binance. Similar to other exchanges of its type, PancakeSwap uses an automated market maker (AMM) model, which allows for users to trade against a liquidity pool.

The interface and terminology on the website can be confusing, making the exchange appropriate for advanced users only.  If you simply wish to buy Spartan Protocol (SPARTA) as an investment than we recommend Gate.io

3rd Exchange

Currently, this token is only supported on two exchanges which are both safe and regulated.  When it is supported on a third, we will list it on securities.io.

The fact that this cryptocurrency is listed on so few exchanges is not necessarily a concern for quality, but does limit the potential upside of the project. With that being stated, it is still early days.  The lack of listings among exchanges is simply due to the fact that the project has not reached the popularity necessary for broader support.
