Highlights from Upcoming Security Token Summit

The upcoming Security Token Summit which will be live streamed on March 25 at Securities.io is brought to you by Draper Goren Holm, a blockchain venture studio and fund with a focus on incubating and accelerating the best early-stage startups from around the world.

The Security Token Summit is a digital securities and security token event that will feature a variety of themes such as compliance, liquidity, derivatives, secondary markets, regulation, custody, interoperability.

Headlining and also one of the most anticipated fireside chats is SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce. Commissioner Peirce is known affectionately in the crypto community as “Crypto Mom” for her progressive outlook and push for sensible solutions that still allow for growth in the community.  In 2020 she released her Token Safe Harbor Proposal (Proposed Securities Act Rule 195) which is a very well thought out proposal to bridge the gap between regulation and decentralization.

Some of the top security token issuance companies will also be present. This includes Dan Doney, Co-Founder and CEO of Securrency. Securrency is a technology products company that delivers a complete suite of security and compliance tools to issuers, broker-dealers, and alternative trading system (ATS) operators to enable the issuance, maintenance, and secondary trading of tokenized securities.

Another issuance company representative is Graeme Moore the Vice President of Marketing at Polymath. Polymath a decentralized platform that makes it easy to create security tokens. The platform simplifies the complex technical challenges of creating a security token and aims to bring the multi-trillion-dollar financial securities market to the blockchain.

Luc Falempin is the CEO of TOKENY Solutions, a Luxembourg based software vendor building an end-to-end platform to issue, manage and transfer tokenized securities in a compliant way.

Not to be missed is Michael Pinkus the CFO of Bitbond, Bitbond radically improves the issuance, settlement and custody of financial instruments with the help of blockchain technology and tokenization.

Another prominent speaker includes Alfred Ritter the CEO and Managing Partner of Montgomery Securities, Montgomery Securities provides investment banking services to financial technology companies, including the private placement and underwriting debt and equity securities, and mergers and acquisitions.

To top off this list is Alex Nascimento, Faculty & Co-Founder Blockchain at UCLA & Author of The STO Financial Revolution book.
