DX.Exchange was one of the first companies to facilitate third party tokenization of traditional shares. Meaning that they purchase shares in a publicly listed company, then create and sell digital securities representing ownership of these. For example, this allows global investors to gain access to U.S based shares, that they would not be able to otherwise.
The company notably makes use of software developed by Nasdaq. This includes a matching engine, surveillance, and FIX API.
DX.Exchange is an Estonian company, which was launched in 2018. Company operations are overseen by CEO, Daniel Skowronski.
