Blockstate is a Swiss company which has developed a platform facilitating the tokenization of assets.  In addition to this, the platform acts as a bridge, connecting accredited investors to token issuers.

The company notes that it is their mission to unlock trapped wealth, which represents upwards of 54% of global assets.  This refers to value derived from assets that are not traditionally easily investible.  The act of tokenization opens the possibility of new levels of funding, in addition of liquidity through secondary market trading.

The companies platform is based on the Ethereum network, and utilizes their in-house BLK tokens.  In an effort to understand the potential reach of their services, Blockstate recently completed a study on the digital securities sector.  In their findings, they project that the sector will see growth resulting in an staggering $8 trillion industry by 2025.

The company has decided to host their own security token offering, with this going live in mid-2019.

Company operations are currently overseen by CEO, Paul Claudius.
