Archax, a company based in the United Kingdom geared towards servicing the digital asset sector, has just announced the official launch of what it calls an ‘Innovative Crypto Exchange' that ‘redefines digital asset trading for institutional investors'.

What it Offers

Archax notes that by launching this platform, it hopes to ‘solidify' itself as a leading example of how traditional finance can benefit and operate alongside digital assets like cryptocurrencies.

This particular offering will see the exchange operate on a 24/7 basis.  This may be the norm when dealing with digital assets, but it is something not typically found when investing in traditional asset classes.  In addition to this, Archax lists the following as a few examples of the benefits afforded through its exchange.

  • customizable multi-screen interfaces
  • robust API connectivity
  • highly liquid trading pairs

Notably, Archax has indicated that while it is at the forefront of this offering, the creation of this exchange was done so with help from both ChartIQ, and interop.io.

Commentary

Upon announcing the launch of this exchange, Archax CEO and co-founder, Graham Rodford, stated,

“Our crypto exchange offers an innovative and comprehensive trading platform for professional investors. Leveraging our institutional knowledge, regulatory acumen, advanced technology, and robust partnerships, we're equipping institutions to confidently and efficiently explore the digital asset market.”

Recent Growth

Beyond the launch of its own crypto exchange, Archax has also taken multiple noteworthy steps within the last month that have not only seen it launch an OTC Crypto Desk for institutional investors but also the successful procurance of its ISO27001 Certification.

This particular certification is awarded through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is known as the Information Security Management System (ISMS).  It maintains a focus on,

  • information security
  • identifying potential risks
  • assessing risk implications
  • building controls to address identified risks

Essentially, if a company boasts such a certification, users can rest assured that it is not only a credible outfit but has taken steps to differentiate it from competitors through stringent risk management practices.  Importantly, this certification also requires that the company continually improve its ISMS.

Well-Rounded

With these recent developments in mind, Archax is quickly becoming one of the more well-rounded companies involved with digital assets.  By addressing the needs of investors in a regulatory-compliant manner, boasting relevant certifications, offering OTC and custodial services, and more, Archax looks poised to capitalize as digital assets continue to grow in popularity among institutional and retail investors alike.
